Cocaine Rehab and Addiction Treatment

Cocaine rehab works best when it addresses two things at once, the physical hold the drug has taken and the life that has grown around it. At InHarmoni we treat cocaine addiction in a private residential setting outside Marbella, with a small number of clients at a time, medical supervision throughout and a clinical team that has seen this pattern many times before. Most people who kontakt us are not at the point of collapse. They are functioning, working, and quietly aware that they have lost the ability to stop.

When cocaine use has stopped being a choice

Cocaine dependence rarely announces itself. It builds through weekends that stretch into weekdays, through promises made on Sunday and broken by Thursday.

The signs people recognise in themselves usually include some of the following:

  • Using more than intended, almost every time, despite deciding in advance not to
  • Planning the week around when using is possible, and around hiding it
  • Sleep, appetite and mood collapsing in the days after use
  • Money, work performance or relationships beginning to carry the cost
  • Rising anxiety, paranoia or low mood that only lifts with more cocaine

None of this means the situation is beyond repair. It means the substance has taken over a decision that used to be yours, and that is exactly what treatment is designed to give back.

How treatment works here

Our cocaine addiction treatment follows four stages, adjusted to the individual rather than applied as a formula.

The core residential programme runs for 28 days, extended when the clinical picture calls for it. Some clients stay longer, and that decision is made clinically, not commercially.

Assessment

Before arrival we carry out a clinical assessment by phone or video, covering substance use, physical health, medication, psykisk helse and what has been tried before. This is also where we are honest about whether our programme is the right fit.

Medically supervised withdrawal

Cocaine does not produce the physically dangerous withdrawal that alcohol or benzodiazepines can, but the crash is real, and it is where most attempts fail. Sleep, mood and cravings are managed with medical oversight and, where appropriate, medication.

Therapy

The core of the programme, and the part that decides whether recovery holds. Individual sessions, group work, trauma informed therapy where relevant, and practical relapse prevention built around the specific situations that trigger use.

Etterbehandling

The weeks after treatment carry the highest risk. Before you leave we build a plan covering continued therapy, contact with us, and the changes needed at home so that the environment does not simply restart the cycle.

Treatment in Marbella, away from the pattern

Distance matters more in stimulant addiction than in almost any other. Cocaine use is closely tied to place, people and routine, and staying in the same city while trying to stop means facing every cue every day. Our clinic sits in El Paraíso, minutes from the beach and a short drive from Marbella, with private rooms, a small number of clients and space to sleep, eat and think clearly again, often for the first time in months.

Marbella also happens to be straightforward to reach. Malaga airport is under an hour away, with direct flights from most British and Nordic cities, and we arrange transfers on arrival and departure.

Crack cocaine and stimulant use

We treat both powder and crack cocaine dependence, and we treat them differently. Crack tends to establish a faster, harsher dependence and often comes alongside other substances or an untreated mental health condition. Where that is the case, both are treated at the same time. Treating the addiction while ignoring the depression underneath it is how people end up back where they started.

Clinically led

Every programme at InHarmoni is overseen by qualified medical and psychotherapeutic staff. That distinction matters in this region, where a good deal of what is marketed as treatment is not clinically staffed at all. You are welcome to ask us directly what qualifications sit behind your programme, and we will answer plainly.

Frequently asked questions

How long does cocaine rehab take?

The residential programme is 28 days as standard. That is long enough to get through withdrawal and into meaningful therapeutic work. Longer stays are available and are sometimes the right clinical choice, particularly where there is a second diagnosis.

Do I need a medical detox from cocaine?

Cocaine withdrawal is not usually medically dangerous, but it is physically and psychologically punishing. Doing it with medical supervision means the crash is managed rather than endured, which is a large part of why supervised attempts succeed more often.

Is treatment confidential?

Entirely. Clients are not identified, and nothing about your stay is shared with anyone without your written consent. Many of our clients hold positions where discretion is not optional.

Can I travel from the UK for treatment?

Yes, and many of our clients do. You need a valid passport and travel insurance, and we handle the assessment before you fly so that nothing is uncertain on arrival.

Can my family be involved?

Yes, and we encourage it where the relationship allows. Family sessions are part of the programme, and relatives can speak to us separately if they need guidance of their own.

What happens if I relapse afterwards?

You contact us. Relapse is a common part of recovery from stimulant addiction, not a disqualification, and the response is a clinical adjustment rather than a fresh start from nothing.
