This page sets out the conditions we work with, what each one looks like in practice, and where to read more. We treat mental health conditions and addiction together, because in most of the people who come to us they arrive together. Where a condition needs a different level of care than a ten bed residential clinic can responsibly provide, we say so at assessment rather than after arrival.

ADHD

Eating Disorders

Eating disorders include anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder and the many presentations that do not fit neatly into any of those categories. They are seldom only about food, and anxiety, depression, trauma or substance use are usually part of the picture. We treat all eating disorders where body mass index is 17 or above at admission.

Prescription Medication Dependence

Dependence on prescribed medication rarely begins with a decision to misuse anything. It begins with a prescription for pain, anxiety or sleeplessness, and a medicine that worked exactly as it was supposed to. We treat codeine and other opioid painkillers, tramadol, benzodiazepines and prescribed sleep medication, with medically supervised reduction.
